This journey was not only affordable but also incredibly enriching. My adventure started in the beautiful Road Town, British Virgin Islands,
where I enjoyed pristine beaches and stunning ocean views. From there, the cruise ship sailed to Santa Cruz de Tenerife in Spain, a vibrant city full of culture and scenic beauty. The picture below was captured in La Orotava. I could walk these streets all day long.
Next stop on this itinerary was Barcelona, a city famous for its art, architecture, and lively atmosphere, and I must say it was my favorite stop. In this location you really don't need a tour guide, just the boldness to venture out and explore. This city is easy to navigate with so many beautiful architecture all around.

After Barcelona, this cruise took me to the glamorous city of Cannes in France, known for its film festival and picturesque coastline. Speaking of film festivals, there was literally one starting as soon as we arrived. Talk about perfect timing.
My final stop was Civitavecchia, Italy, the gateway to Rome. I took a day trip to Rome to explore iconic landmarks like the Colosseum and Vatican City, soaking in the rich history and culture and spent the next 3 days in Pomezia, Italy where my hotel resides. What made this trip so special was this was a one-way Cruise to Italy, which allowed me to stay in Italy for extra time to explore.
